The Old School House lies on a quiet lane leading to bridleways and footpaths in the open North Bedfordshire countryside. Its attractive location makes it a favourite for couples seeking a romantic weekend or few days away from the hustle and bustle of life!

Being less than a mile from the award winning Plough restaurant also within Bolnhurst adds to the attraction, meaning an Old School House breakfast can be complemented later in the day by a delicious lunch or dinner without travelling too far! Many other local villages have super pubs and there are more places to eat in both Bedford, Milton Keynes and St Neots.

The beautiful town of Kimbolton is only ten minutes away and Cambridge less than half an hour, whilst there are historic properties and gardens within a short drive. Golf, sailing at Grafham Water, walking, fishing, motor sports, riding and cycling all take place locally whilst shopping at Milton Keynes can occupy an hour or two!!

Chilled Champagne or sparkling wine, chocolates and flowers can be supplied on request or just ring and discuss what we can do to help make your break perfect Oh and don’t forget we have hosted brides on their wedding eve, bridegrooms, bridesmaids, mothers and fathers of the bride and couples for their first night of wedded life, we love to make you feel special!
