After years of
keeping a few sheep with our horses we decided to concentrate on some
special sheep once our daughter's horses were no longer here. So a
search began for those special sheep!! First Milly, Molly and Mandy
arrived to be followed in 2005 by a further five ewes and lambs. And so
began The Old School House Woollies!
Our first fleeces were spun in 2005 and we had fun making up the first samples of jumpers, hats, mitts, gloves and other small items from our own wool. Hand knitted items from identifiable sheep. So you can have a Nutmeg scarf or a Daisy hat!!!
Natural colours, pure wool and wonderful warmth combine to make charming gifts to take home or perhaps you would prefer some wool to knit or crochet yourself. Do ask us for samples when you visit and we will be delighted to introduce you to the sheep and their Old School House Woollies
